I was disappointed with my Ryker experience. I love the mission behind eliminating plastic and returning to natural fibers. I thought the quality of materials was great (I ordered the cotton linerless shorts and cotton shirt). They advertise that they fit like Lululemon, which is the brand I am transitioning from, and I did not find this to be the case. Much tighter in the thighs than Lulu, and too long on the 7" and too short on the 5" (I usually wear 7" pace breaker from Lulu). I also found the shorts pretty thick in material (in contrast to the shirt which was perfect). The blue shorts also look purple to me. For the shirt, everything fit great except the torso is made really long. It went down past by butt, which is exceptionally long for a t shirt (for reference I'm 5'9 and 175 lbs with a normal torso length). I otherwise would have kept the shirt. But the biggest issue I found with Ryker is their poor handling of the orders themselves. I placed an order late April, they delayed the whole shipment until one of the items came back in stock, then they didn't send that item in the original packaging so I had to contact them for it. They promised 24-48 hours it would be in the mail but it shipped several days after that, and then when I went to process an exchange I had to remind them to send me the exchange item. I have a good friend who has had the same kinds of issues with this company. It took me almost 2 months to complete a single order with one exchange. For comparison, within this time frame I ordered new shorts from Nero and got them and did an exchange before finishing everything with Ryker (Nero probably took 2 weeks total from initial order to getting my exchanged item). I've never had this poor of an experience with ordering clothes online in terms of having to stay on top of the company for fear they just won't send what I ordered. I'd really like to see this improve, and honestly, I just think the fit of the clothes is strange. Overall, I'm a big fan of the mission but I'd like the delivery to be sharper.

We don’t traditionally buy pricey gym wear, but now that companies are making healthier alternatives to clothes made from polyester or plastics it’s been something my husband and I wanted to transition in to. I found this brand on Grok, so I bought two pairs for my husband for Father’s Day to see if they were worth replacing all of his shorts with. THEY ARE AMAZING. They are soft, stretchy, breathable, and look really good on. Since I’ve gotten them (I have them to him early :)) he’s rotated between the two pairs every day for the past week. He’s obsessed. Definitely buying more- thank you for making a great quality product 🥳

Best shorts Ive had!!

I purchased a medium Ares 100% cotton short in black with a 5.5" inseam a little over a week ago. I received them the other day and wore them for the first time yesterday. They were wonderful! I wasn't sure how they would fit and what they would be like since it appears they are designed for men, but thought I would give them a shot anyways, as I've been unable to find a 100% organic cotton GOTS Certified natural fiber activewear short for women that I like. I'm so glad I purchased a pair! They are so comfortable and fit great, and because they are designed for men, they are longer than most women's shorts, which I liked. Will definitely purchase a couple more pairs in the future. Thank you so much for consciously creating a wonderful pair of activewear shorts!!!

Great fit, nice groin space to hold the boys where you want it great in the sauna and pool.
