I really like the way these shorts look—they fit well and have a clean, modern style that's great for the gym. That said, I wasn't as impressed with the quality as I expected. One downside is that they show sweat stains pretty easily, which I didn't expect from gym shorts. They also require a bit more care when washing to keep them looking good. Overall, they look great, but I expected better performance and durability for the price.

I ordered two pairs of shorts on April 1, expecting them to ship around April 10 as advertised. Instead, it took over three months to receive my full order. The biggest issue wasn’t the delay it was the constant false promises. Every time I contacted customer service, I was given a new shipping date that came and went: June 4, “within a week,” June 25, “next week,” then “by Monday.” None happened. Communication was terrible. I had to keep reaching out for updates, one response took two weeks, and I even received a shipping notification that incorrectly made it seem both pairs had shipped. If they had simply been honest from the beginning, I would’ve understood. Instead, I spent months getting inaccurate timelines. The shorts are nice, but the customer service and fulfillment were among the worst I’ve experienced. I won’t be ordering from Ryker again. I would write this review under the actual apex shorts but it wont let me likely due to the fact that they know they messed up.

I love wool clothing in general. I ordered 2 pairs of shorts because of how expensive they are, especially trying wool fabric for the first time. After a couple of weeks, 2 pairs of shorts aren’t enough for the amount of pickleball I play on a weekly basis! So I ordered 3 more pairs. I love the quality and how dry and odorless they get compared to synthetic fabrics. Thanks for the amazing shorts!!!

As someone just starting out in the world of health-conscious fabrics, I’m still early in my journey. The materials used in the shorts and tops are absolutely wonderful. My one complaint is the shipping, it’s been slower than expected, and the site attributes the delays to the World Cup tournament. Disappointing, but hopefully worth the wait.

I consider this size a unisex look for me bevause im a woman and I love wearing the small black 5.5 shorts for pickleball.
